why this list

Hand-lettered place cards from Etsy run $3 to $7 each. At 100 guests that's $300 to $700 — for paper rectangles. The exact same editorial look, sourced from Amazon and assembled at home, runs $0.40 each ($40 total).

The trick: a calligraphy stamp set (cheaper and faster than learning calligraphy). The result reads as hand-lettered to anyone who isn't a calligrapher.

Style notes: cream cardstock, brass holders, vellum overlay, optional dried bunny tail accent. Pairs with neutral, boho, or rustic table settings.

one quiet tip

Stamp all 100 names before you cut the cards. Mistakes happen — and reprinting a fresh sheet of cardstock is faster than re-stamping a single trimmed card. Cut last, always.
